The Ohio Department of Insurance has created this on-line toolkit for the pilot annuity disclosure templates program that began on April 1, 2009 and will last one year. The Department is asking Ohio life insurance companies to use the uniform annuity disclosure templates to help consumers more clearly understand fixed and indexed annuities before a purchase is made.
