The Office of Information Technology and Security (OITS) designs, implements and maintains computer programs and applications as well as maintains the Ohio Department of Insurance's technology infrastructure. OITS protects the agency's information assets ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. Public record requests, records management, and Ohio Administrative Code rule filings, procedures and five-year review processes are handled by OITS. Staff also are involved with facility management and security.
OITS produced and manage the department’s user-friendly website that provides consumers, insurers and agents important information and services.
