The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period ends December 7 of each year. During this time, Ohioans eligible for Medicare can choose the best Medicare health or prescription drug plan available for them in the following year. The Ohio Department of Insurance’s Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) is offering free and objective health and drug plan counseling to empower Medicare beneficiaries to select the best option for their particular coverage needs. Participating beneficiaries may be able to save themselves a significant amount of money on their health insurance premiums, deductibles, co-pays, and prescription drug plans.
