The Ohio Department of Insurance sent this notice on April 26, 2010, to those agents whose continuing education records indicate that they failed to complete the required number of approved continuing education hours for the 2008-2009 compliance period. The law changed in 2002 to provide for an automatic license suspension for agents who do not complete the required continuing education or request an extension. The law requires the Department to give an agent 60 days notice before the suspension becomes effective.
